Principals Annual Survey Released for 2000-01 School Report Cards

Each of the 1,800 public school
principals in Oklahoma will receive an important survey from the Office of Accountability this
week. The annual "School Questionnaire" is used to gather site-level data and data not available
from other resources. The information is published in the School Report Cards and is a vital
link to learning more about local schools.
Issues for the 2000-01 report series include parental involvement in parent-teacher
conferences, student suspensions, and number of patron hours volunteered.
Superintendent's are sent a courtesy copy and asked to encourage and support their
principals in completing the request. Surveys must be returned by December 14, 2001 to avoid
"FTR," (Failure To Respond,) being noted on their school's School Report Card.
The Education Oversight Board and Office of Accountability are privileged to be partners in
education with local administrators and teachers. Our staff is available to address any questions
or concerns regarding the school questionnaire at (405) 522-4578 or Email
